Newsletters
Guidelines
for General Submissions:
- All newsletter submissions
are to be sent to: astatine@ehtiecorps.org
- All submissions MUST contain
the ID-Line of the person (or people) who did the work. If you send
in someone else's submissions, make sure it is clear who the author
is.
- If you are sending multiple
submissions, please make sure they are zipped together.
- ALL MEMBERS of the Emperor's
Hammer are encouraged to submit to the newsletter, regardless of Subgroup
affiliation.
- Submissions are due by the end
of the month. Any late submissions will appear in next month's Newsletter.
Guidelines for Fiction Submissions:
(Fan Fiction,
Imperial Navy Pilot Records)
- When filling out an INPR, please
use this form, and
this form only. If you are a member of the TIE
Corps, please use the TIE
Corps Database to submit your INPR. Your updated INPR on the database will automatically be included in the Newsletter.
- Fiction should relate to the
Emperor's Hammer or one of its subgroups.
- If your fiction contains mature
themes, language, or graphic violence and isn't suitable for all ages,
you MUST place a warning at the top of your submission. Absolutely NO
pornographic or erotic literature will be accepted!
Guidelines for Image Submissions:
(Member photos,
graphics, banners, videos, Flash movies)
- Please submit all still images
in .GIF, .JPG, .BMP, or .PNG format only.
- All movie submissions should
have something in e-mail to state what player(s) is/are required to
view the movie.
- Membership photos must include
captions of who's in the photo.
- Images and photos must be in
good taste.
- Original works only! Do not
steal a picture from someone or alter someone else's work and attempt
to claim it as your own!
Guidelines for Article/Interview
Submissions:
(Articles,
Reviews, Interviews, News Stories)
- EH related or Star Wars related
articles accepted only. No articles from or about rival or allied gaming
organizations will be accepted unless it highlights their involvement
with the Emperor's Hammer (i.e. a club vs. club competition)
- All news articles should clearly
state the source of information. Credit for quoted text from other sources
should be properly recognized.
- Submissions should be suitable
for all ages. Inappropriate language should be censored and bleeped
out.
Guidelines for Columnist Submissions:
(Monthly columns)
- Columnists are required to submit
an article at least once a month.
- Columnists should stick to their
general topic.
- Columnists MUST have authorization
from the Executive Officer
to run a regular column in the Newsletter first.
Guidelines for Command Staff
Members and Sub-Group Commanders:
- You MUST submit your Weekly
Domain Updates on the TIE
Corps Database. These reports will automatically be compiled
to serve as your monthly NL report.
